Notification (ADMISSION PROCEDURE) 2019 - 20

THE INDIAN COLLEGE OF ARTS AND DRAFTSMANSHIP invites online application for admission to the B.F.A. program of Four Year duration under Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) consisting of Eight SEMESTERS of Six months each for the session 2019 – 2020. PAINTING, APPLIED ART, PRINT MAKING & SCULPTURE are available as specialized subjects for the Day and Evening Section. Print Making is not available as a specialized subject for the Evening Section.

 

Online Application forms will be available on the college website only:

www.indianartcollege.com from 29/05/2019 to 17/06/2019 (up to 04:00 pm).

 

Eligibility:

  • Break of study, not more than 2 Years, i.e., the candidates who have passed H.S or its equivalent in the year 2019, 2018 & 2017 are only eligible to apply.
  • Candidates having passed the H.S Examination or its Equivalent with special aptitude in the concerned subject are eligible to apply.
  • The candidate may also apply a maximum of 4 specialized subjects in the separate application form.

 

Generic Elective Subjects (G.E.)

  • At the undergraduate level of studies, students will have to take up anyone out of the following Elective subjects of 200 marks each as per the C.B.C.S. syllabus structure of the UGC guidelines. Painting, Applied Art, Print Making & Sculpture are available as elective subjects. Print Making is not available as an elective subject for Evening Section Students.
  • No student is allowed to choose the subject as Generic Elective which is his/her Honours subject.

 

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS 

  • The Candidate has to pay Rs 700/- for online application form fees, for each application form and an additional extra will be charged for payment gateway.

  • Duly filled in downloaded application should be signed by the candidate and his/ her parent/guardian at the given spaces of the form.

  • The duly filled-in application form along with self-attested copies of all mark sheets, certificates and other relevant documents and copy of the online fees payment receipt, has to be retained by the candidate. Applicants must preserve the acknowledgment receipt containing the Application Form ID No. etc. for the future reference.

  • The hard copy of duly filled-in downloaded Application Form along with self-attested copies of all mark sheets, certificates and other relevant documents and copy of payment receipt will be required to submit to the College on the day of Viva-voce.

 

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • No student will participate in, abet or propagate ragging in the College campus as per the order of the Honorable Supreme Court.
  • Candidates admitted elsewhere in any degree course must submit a certificate or any other relevant document showing cancellation from the said degree course at the time of admission. Failing which, his/her candidature will be treated as canceled.
  • No candidate will be allowed for admission to two or more concurrent degree courses in the same University (regular/external) in the same calendar year.
  • The admission of a candidate will be canceled if any information given by him/her is found to be wrong or suppressed.

  • Downloading of Admit card  from the college website :

Admission Test Procedure:

 

  • Theoretical and Practical Exam :  

10/07/2019, 11/07/2019 & 12/07/2019.

 

  • List of Candidates selected for Viva – Voce, published on the college website: 19/07/2019

 

  • Viva – Voce:   22/07/2019 & 23/07/2019.

 

  • Publication of 1st Provisional Merit list on the college website  :

26/07/2019 (after 05.00 p.m.)

 

  • Provisional Admission through payment gateway on basis of 1st merit list:

 29/07/2019 to 31/07/2019 through Net Banking / Credit Card / Debit card mode only.

 

  • Confirmation of Admission at the college office: 01/08/2019 & 02/08/2019.

Provisionally Admitted Candidates are requested to bring

the following documents on 01/08/2019 & 02/08/2019:

 

  • Self-Attested Photocopy of Admit Card of Madhyamik (for Age Proof).
  • Self-Attested Photocopy of Mark Sheet of Madhyamik and Higher Secondary Exam.
  • Self-Attested Photocopy of Mark Sheet of Self Attested Photocopy of Mark Sheet of B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Com. (if applicable)
  • Photocopy of the Registration Certificate of above University (if applicable) 
  • Self-Attested Photocopy of Cast Certificate (for SC/ ST/ OBC Candidates)
  • Self-Attested Photocopy of Physical Disability Certificate (for physically challenged Candidates).
  • The admission of a candidate will be canceled if any information given by him/her is found to be wrong or suppressed.
  • Submission of Application Forms for admission does not imply any right to admission and selection for admission.
